AVU Stories
The theme of the artist’s role extends beyond the walls of institutions, reaching art openings and even the homes of those indifferent or hostile to art. The seven chapters of the university comic form a script interwoven with experiences from seven years of study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Attempts to portray these experiences without self-censorship involve real individuals—specific characters who guide the narrative. The work’s exploration of trauma is infused with a mix of pathos and dry humor.
